About The Event
Wet felting is the ancient craft of entangling wool fibre together to form a fabric using only soapy water and friction. Elise will guide participants in the layout and design of a simple wall hanging. Students will felt a piece of prefelt, cut out their design, then create a new piece of fabric incorporating their cut element(s). This workshop is four hours long with a 30 min break for lunch - please bring a bagged lunch and drink. Students are asked to bring two old towels and sharp scissors to the workshops.
