Caro Creighton has fond memories of Chester from a young age. She is a California based art teacher who has taught K-6 students for the past twelve years. Working mainly in acrylics and oils, she has also studied watercolour and ceramics. She did a collaborative collage mural in 2012 with the Chester Elementary School. Grade one students from Santa Barbara and Chester became pen pals for the winter and then created scenes from their local experiences and mailed them to each other. Prior to her art teacher position she worked with pre-school aged children and adults with special needs teaching in a studio format.
