2026 People's Portrait Prize

Experience our first exhibition of 2026: The Second Annual People's Portrait Prize!

The 2025 inaugural People's Portrait Prize was recognized across the province as a showcase celebrating the diversity and creativity of the human spirit. This year's exhibition features 72 unique pieces from our wonderful local artists.

Winners will be chosen for the following categories: Digital Art & Mixed Media, Painting, Drawing, Sculpture, Textile, Photography, and the People's Choice Award. You can help us choose the 2026 People's Choice Award winner by voting for your favourite artwork. There are also dozens of pieces for sale if you'd like to bring a portrait home with you and support our local artists and nonprofit art centre!

We hope to see you in the gallery over the upcoming weeks at 60 Queen Street, Chester. Open Wednesday-Friday from 10am-4pm or weekends from noon to 4pm.
