SUBMISSION GUIDELINES 

WHO:  
• This show is open to all Lunenburg County residents. 

WHAT: 
• All artistic mediums are welcome from residents of all ages & abilities.

• Portraits must be of human subjects – no exceptions. 
• Up to 3 artworks by each artist. 
• Entry fee is $15 per artwork; $5 per artwork for artists under 18. 
• No submissions are required prior to the event – all artworks are accepted.

• Two-dimensional artwork must be ready to hang with D-rings/wire. 
• For sculpture, a limited number of plinths are available. 
• Any artwork not exhibition ready cannot be displayed. 
• All artwork must have the artist’s name & contact information legibly attached to it.

• Artwork will be judged by a jury in categories (to be announced), and visitors can vote for the People’s Choice Award. 
• Artwork can be for sale. 75% of any art sales will go to the artist. 
• Chester Art Centre will process all artwork purchases. 
• NOTE: Space is limited. We will hang at least one work per artist.

WHEN:  
• Artwork drop-off is anytime between Jan 7th-10th. Exhibit runs January 14th, 2026 to February 7th, 2026, Wednesday to Friday 10am-4pm, and 12-4 on weekends. 
• Closing reception and award gala is on Saturday February 7th from 5-7pm. • Pick up is Sunday, Feb 8th, 2026 between 10 am and 4 pm. 

WHY: 
• To promote portrait and figurative artwork by the vast talent that can be found in our community.
